One of the first "second wave" bands and the the first which was singned to Step Forward which was run
by Mark P. (Sniffin' Glue fanzine & ATV band). Band came from Bristols and their line-up
was: Jeremy Valentine (vocals), Dexter Dalwood (bass), Nick Sheppard (guitar),
Mike Fewins (guitar), Daniel Swan (drums). Cortinas was first managed by drummer's dad, but
when recording to Step Forward Miles Copeland's sidekick Kim Turner started managing them and soot they
moved to CBS. and made decent, but not so well sold LP.
Nick Sheppard joined the Clash during the period of Cut the Crap
