One of the all time best powerpop band, the Boys where formed in London 1976. Their line-up was: "Honest" John Plain (guitar), Matt Dangerfield (guitar), Casino Steel (keyboard), Kid Reid (vocals) and Jack Black (drums). They disbanded in 1982.

NOTE: There was also another (OK, maybe dozen, but ...) Boys in the America. They were a power pop group that released a handful of 45s.
Before Chrismas their letter mixed up and they became THE YOBS. Also their names changed to Noddy Oldfield, Ebenezer Polak, Kid Vicious and H.J. Bedwetter. The Yobs made ffollowing "X-mas records":Discography:
